Any Chance Big Al gets an All-Star bid?

Let's face it, there just aren't very many good centers right now in the West. Gasol and Duncan do not play exclusively at Center like Al does, but they will probably both get spots and one of them will start. Either way, does Al deserve an All-Star bid?

I guess he could if Yao is out and Pau Gasol, and Duncan, and Bynum, and Nene, and Okafur, and Chandler, and Memphis Gasol, and Marcin Gortat, and David Lee, and Demarcus Cousins, and DeAndre Jordan. Then yes there is a chance he would be picked over Darco and whoever they have playing center in Portland these days.

You can write him in as a starter.

No. Gasol, Duncan, Griffin, Love, Nowitzki are all bigs who are locks to be selected ahead of him. I'm probably forgetting a name or two as well.

Gotta remember, Duncan is a power forward.

Sure he is usually the tallest Spur on the floor. He guards centers. He is guarded by centers. He rarely matches up against the other teams PF. He looks, acts, smells like, is as tall as, and plays the center position.

But he is a forward.

Wait.....I thought Al played for Utah??????????????

LOL! I watched the game on League Pass with the Timberwolves announcers and it was funny 'cause they'd get so excited whenever Al Jeff did anything good - - and at one point when they listed the "keys to the game" or whatever they called it, they actually had him listed with Minnesota rather than Utah. Anyone else notice that?
