His J is wet. If we add someone like Booker with Hood we'll have the weapons to compete in the playoffs.

What a find, what a steal, what a man. HOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Hood seems like a great guy and looks like he will be a great asset and shaping up to be a solid player. He sure does say 'you know' a lot in interviews though ... you know ? :) What I do definitely know is that the Hood is Good!

I think being a lefty gives him an advantage. I know it did somewhat for me in high school. If you watch those highlights more than once the defender went after Hood's right hand while pulled up left and hit the shot nearly uncontested. It helped me somewhat the same way, especially considering I had a jump-hook with either hand.

I love when a player has great balance and good form on his jump shot. Rodney has the best looking jumper on the Jazz and when he gets hot, it's a thing of beauty.

I'll say it again...he is better than Burks right now.

Rodney had a great game! What I find tremendously impressive is when he gets a kick out on the perimeter. Unlike many young shooters, he has a pretty good knack for knowing if he should shoot it, or hesitate just a second or two and drive. He's not tremendously quick, but he uses his shooting to get around people well.

The spacing of the NBA has definitely helped his game! If he just keeps on improving his defense, he should be starting over Burks imo!

I'm imagining you = Kareem Abdul Jabar right now.

Notice all his shots are off the dribble. These shots are a higher degree of difficulty and something Hayward didn't have until this year.

Kinda reminds me of when CJ Miles gets hot, but like, instead of once every 2 weeks, Hood does it EVERY SINGLE GAME !!!!

I watched a lot of Jordan back in the day and I gotta say that Hood's shot reminds me a lot of His Airness. The way he hangs up there, the quick release and the solid connection to the back of the rim brings back memories.

I noticed this as well. Seems to me like he goes straight up really high, and with his long arms and high release, it's very hard for anyone blocking that shot.
