Could Kanter and Gobert have worked?

Good for Kanter. Honestly.

Jazz got rid of him for the same reason they let Boozer go finally when his contract was up (and why Chicago also let him go, eventually). He defended for ****. Having a player like Kanter is a luxury. A one-way player only works if you have players like Westbrook and Durant and Ibaka.

Don't have players like that yet and need everyone to defend. And honestly as a fan how ****ty was it those years with Boozer, just knowing that everything he did offensively was undone on the other end of the court because he was such a candy-*** defender. Kanter sucks at D and is skilled around the hoop. And he sand bagged it because he was unhappy. Glad he's gone and glad he's having success. Seems like fun.

He looks really good. He's playing very relaxed and quite efficiently on the offensive end. Like all of a sudden he's more coordinated and skilled.

Kanter is an egomaniac, things are going well for him now cause' he just joined a playoff caliber team, contender when Durant is healthy. So it's back to Bull Kanter now. I'd like to see when things are on the down side... like if an upcoming star overwhelmingly threatens to take his position. Will he chicken out again?

It didn't work... It's already done and we got a 1st, early 2nd, great C/PF prospect, and a scrub. He was gone after this year so Lindsey did his job getting something in return.

Favors/Gobert is our front court of the future and are dominating so why play what if? What if we never got Favors? What if we took George vs Hayward? What if we took Paul instead?

Easy to say what if..... Let it go!
