I don't know how I could be more clear... TCU and Utah are the 2 favorites to win the MWC this year. TCU and Utah would also be the 2 favorites to win the PAC this year. There is no TCU in the PAC, so if Utah was already in the PAC, they would be the favorite this year. It's not delusional. You know what's delusional? Some bitter BYU fan who keeps saying Utah wouldn't and won't contend for a PAC championship, but refuses to list the teams that will- even after being asked to do so repeatedly.
BYU barely won a freaking home game. What happened in the previous meeting? Oh yeah, Utah blew them out. Saying Utah can't compete with BYU is a ridiculous lie and you know it. Utah can, and will, blow them out again this year.
And Utah WILL be going to a bigger bowl game. In case you missed it, the Vegas bowl goes to the 5th place PAC team. I think even the most delusional of BYU homers will agree that Utah will do better than 5th place most years.
Utah took second, get it right. And that accomplishment is more than BYU has ever done. yeah, BYU won a controversial championship 100 years ago or whatever, but they didn't beat anybody to do it and played in a crappy bowl game. Utah beat a top 5 team in a BCS bowl game to go undefeated for the second time in 4 years. BYU has never done that.
Oh yeah, and Utah got accepted to be in the PAC 10. They must have proven something for the PAC 10 to accept them. That's another accomplishment that is bigger than anything BYU has ever done.
Well if you want to be intellectually honest as you say, then lets get it all out there... BYU won the championship in the AP Poll. In that very same poll, Utah took second (and had 16 first place votes) in 2008.Utah took second? Oh, they lost the championship game? Wait, they weren't even playing in the championship game? Hmmm... At BEST they took third, and I've always given them that much, since I'm not a complete BeanClown. To say they took 2nd is not intellectually honest.
Also, would you like to lose MORE money on the BYU game this year? I do enjoy taking your money, it really tickles my special spots.

And i'll bet you as much as you're willing to bet Utah beats BYU this year (barring some injuries of course).
Hilarious. You haven't even lost yet, and you're already making an excuse. This is classic Salty, and I expect nothing less. What kind of odds are you going to give me, anyhow?
I didn't add an asterisk. I said Utah will win. And of course if the entire starting lineup goes down before the game then I might change my opinion. But as of right now, barring injuries, Utah should blow BYU out.If you fully expect Utah to win, then don't add an asterisk to your post like, "Barring Injury" because it makes you look like a flaming roast beef curtain. Also, if you're so positive that Utah will win, then back it up and give me some points. I'm just testing your fandom, that is all. If you don't think the Utes will win, then don't offer me any points. Simple.

And if you want points after that crap last year then you have exposed yourself to be a fraud.
Don't come in here and challenge me to a bet, and then act like it's my fault when you wuss out. You don't expect BYU to win, fine. Not too many people should expect BYU to beat Utah at this point so we can't fault you for it.
No back pedal here. Utah will blow out BYU, barring injuries. And if you want to bet, we can bet as much as you're willing to risk.Classic back pedal, I love it. Let me get this straight, Mr. Utah Fan, you're postive Utah will beat BYU, but you're going to put an asterisk by it so if/when there are injuries, you can back out of the bet. Right? Furthermore, you're the guy who is saying that Utah will blow out BYU, so shouldn't it be on YOU -- you know, the guy making the brash statements -- to back it up? I don't want or need points, nor do I need to worry about 'injuries' or any of that nonsense, but I do find it funny and typical that you can't back up all your absurd talk with any form of testicular fortitude.
So, let's bet the usual $25.00 then. However, I'm not clear on your stipulations. If Utah suffers some sort of injury plague, are you going to void our bet?
Secondly, how many points are you going to give me?
#1: No, I will not void the bet.
#2: No points. There is no current money line or point spread for this future game, so save it. If you want to wait until there is a money line or whatever, we can talk about a bet at that time. But you're the one who came in here asking for a bet, so put up or shut up.
So, you're so positive that you're going to win, that you won't put your fandom/balls on the line and give me points. I totally understand, it's what being a bandwagon fan is all about. Congrats, you're everything that I hate about Utah fans.
That being said, I do love taking your money. It's a bet.
#1: you're the one who came in here asking for a bet. If you want a bet, bet me then. Don't wuss out and try to pin it on me. There is no current point spread or money line in Vegas, so you have no business even asking for one from me. If you think your team will win, and there is no Vegas line, it's retarded to even ask for a line.
#2: What's the bet? $25 straight up? Sounds good to me...
Why is it retarded to ask for points? It speaks volumes about what kind of fan you are that you are NOT willing to put your money where you mouth is in regards to the game. I don't care about Vegas or money lines or any of that garbage, why do you? I thought you cared about your team, and I thought you were positive they were going to win. Obviously, you're not positive. It's all good though, I wouldn't want to bet against BYU either.
Uh, I AM sure Utah is going to win, and I AM willing to put my money where my mouth is. If you don't care about Vegas or money lines or any of that, then stop asking for poiints, lol.
Shows what kind of wuss you are to come in here claiming Utah can't compete with BYU, challenge me to a bet, and then start crying about points when I accept the bet.
I don't blame you though. No sane sports fan would take BYU in a straight up bet over Utah at this point. Of course, you are a BYU fan so you may actually bet...
So do we have a bet or not?
You're so funny Salty, it really is amazing. Straight up bet, if that's all you have the balls to do. You do Utah fans a disservice by being such a hatchet wound.
Comedy.
I only offered to take your money after you spouted off about how great your team was, how your new conference is superrior to the one that you just left, and how you were going to wipe the walls with BYU this year. You're the one talking smack, not me. I simply called you on your smack talk asking you to back it up with a monetary figure and/or points. You won't give me points because you're scared to lose money, because deep down, you don't think your team will win. I think it's highly pathetic and telling of your manhood. My wife would pull something like this.
So, $25.00 straight up because you don't have the stones to back up all your idiotic trash talk. Done and done.
