I'm planning a poker tournament at my place on Feb 18th at 8 pm.

Buy-in $20
(no rebuys or add-ons, $20 no more no less)
Should last around 3 hours, give or take.
up to 20 players

Can I bring a d.d. and a backup just in case the first gets pissed over an early bad beat and runs to the bar? This isn't my way of asking to drink at your house or anything. I would be sufficiently ****ed up when I show up. It's at 8 o'clock, after all.

So you're saying you want to bring two people with you? Yeah that's fine. If any of them need to hit a bar there's "Bout Time Pub" about 3 blocks from my house.

You're not going to get disorderly and break stuff, are you?

Come by about 30 min early and we can go over the basics. You do know hand ranking, right?

I'll tell you what poke her face means when you're more grown up.

That's not my style. I'm a friendly drunk. The worst I'll do is pass out sitting up, which is a virtual guarantee in a 3 hour game. I'd worry more about divvying up my chips than broken stuff.
 
I wish I knew how to play poker. It would be fun to come hang out and knock back a few brewskis with you dudes.
 
I'll plan on it. Don't know if I'll stay awake for the whole thing. Maybe I'll catch a nap before the game.
