Kanter 30 Pts and 16 Rebs... And Now the Rest of the Story...

He's not about himself he's been raging about OKC locker room and professional culture. He's very much a team player and always has been. Back in college he was ruled illeligible for KU but he didn't leave the team to hire a training staff and Kobe like Exum did. Instead he stuck with the team and practiced with them to help them grow. Now he's doing everything Brooks is asking him to do. He did everything Utah asked him to so even though they were stunting his growth.

Except for, you know, defend. At all.

Putting up 20-10 in this league is so easy. 50-30 is where it is at.

Shall I furnish you with a list of players who've put up 20-10 over a sample of 20 games in the past decade? Or shall I point out that Kanter hasn't exactly put up 20-10 over that sample, either?

dunno about Al, but Vucevic for sure. Enes is much more mobile than Al ever was, and is a better rebounder.
My post was a little confusing..... what I meant to say is that Orlando and Charlotte would be winning teams if you put westbrook on them. Basically, if you have an mvp candidate then your team is good. I think that the thunder could win some games even without kanter...... he isn't the reason that they are a winning team

Why are we still talking about Kanter?

I think for the most part, Jazz fans have an inferiority complex. Many of yous act like you were just broken up with and now you're trying to rationalize everything.

Kanter is gone, our team has improved. Move on.

Their record is better since getting Kanter than it was before. Fact. They also lost key players like Durant (again), Ibaka, Roberson, and Adams (but he's come back) and they've still amassed a winning record in his tenure. It has been the Westbrook and Kanter show with Morrow and Waiters having a special game here and there.

Mcgary and Adams have been legit too. Point is, Enes has been a positive for them. Everyone can be pissed and say he's scum and a cancer, but he's found a fit there. A fit that is going to get better when the better defenders come back.

Fair enough.

Yeah, doing everything that Brooks wants except being committed to defense. As always.

Further, when guys who actually make their team better have career nights scoring and rebounding, their teams win. Guys who just put up stats on O who do the same watch their teams lose. DESPITE the career numbers on offense.

except OKC has a better winning % with Enes than w/o him. Despite them having lost the league's MVP for the season, and one of the league's best shot blockers for a big important stretch.

And yet Kanter put up career numbers last night and they still lost. Explain.
