We really really need to bring this dude back. Great personality, everyone loves him, and he actually turned into a good basketball player too.

I was just listening to DJ and pk interview him on their morning show. He is the best interview ever. DJ and pk both loved every minute of it (I did too), he uses just the right amount of humour and seriousness. I lol'd multiple times during the interview.
They brought up the booker tweets at kanter and asked Joe what level of anger the team was at with kanter. Joe said that the team was as angry and upset at kanter as he has ever seen in his years of playing basketball. Basically everyone on the team was pissed. He said that everyone liked Kanter when he was on the team and that kanter was/is a good player. He said that the things kanter said about the Jazz organization, fans, city, teammates, and coaches were all lies. He said how much he loves the city, fans, coaches and organization and really really wants to be here. Talked about how grateful he is to have played here and that he thinks if not for the jazz then no one would have picked him up.

He seems to be the type of person that will captivate a whole room and have everyone wrapped around his finger whenever he wants. Those types of people are rare in this world. (I have known 2 people that have that ability, one male and one female..... super charismatic people that make you feel like the sun is shining on you and you are the most important person in the world when they are talking to you. I wish I possessed that skill)

Jingles is becoming one of my favorite players...... and I hated that he was on the team early in the year and never wanted to see him on the court.
He has won me over with his personality AND his play on the court.
Hell I would even drop $120 on his jersey if there was one available to buy and I don't even know what number he wears. (It would have to be after he signs another contract with the jazz so I know he will be sticking around)

Absolutely and still give him time no matter who we bring back. I'd have him as an end of rotation guy in a play off rotation.

I say grab a SF/SG in free agency or via trade and make Ingles the #1 3rd stringer if that makes sense

Like this for example:

Carroll/Hood
Hayward/Burks

Then Ingles and Millsap as the final wing guys.

Love me some sow mo joe. Best nickname I'm sports. Lol.

I remember when we signed him. I didn't even know who he was. The jazz had also signed Hamilton, and they ended up keeping Ingles and letting Hamilton go. So glad the jazz know what's what!!

I completely disagree with this. Slow mo joe deserves, and is good enough to be in the rotation

He'll only get better too, as Quinn has validated this year that he is a legit rotational NBA player.

I was unsure about him to early on. His hustle on breakaway defense, a la Hayward, gave me hope that he could stick around. I think we'll see a big improvement over the summer from him. His confidence will soar knowing he's a true Jazz Man.

His bball IQ is off the charts, I've seen very few slow players that use their slowness to their advantage like Joe does. Deceptive, has a hypnotic effect over the players guarding him while he dribbles the ball. It's actually quite a phenomenon to witness. And a jump shot that you could never buy into but goes in more than doesn't.

Slow mo Joe is here to stay!

Let us say that the Jazz pick up Carroll or Matthews (or an equivelant player) who do you play Ingles over? Hayward, Burks, Hood or the Carroll/Matthews/equivelant player?

Considering he shot 41%, it actually doesn't go in more often than it doesn't. Joe is still awesome though, shot a really good 3-Pt % after the all-star break.

I don't see Utah making a big splash in free agency. This team has special chemistry; you just don't mess with that. Any thoughts of perhaps clearing space by not picking up Booker"s option and getting a wing are gone. Booker is the heart and soul of the team with his tweets. And we have that other solid wing in Hood. Having Ingles and Millsap behind the 3 others is ideal. Jazz will add tomic or Pleiss and their pick. I don't see a trade involving anyone. The youngest team in the league with one of the best records after the break. Why mess with that?

Such a party pooper, his eFG% has been .517 this season which is a more important stat when defining a player's production in offense. Take that smarty pants!

Along with all of the great attributes listed by you guys, Joe brings the nasty. He ain't backing down from no one and that is HUGE come playoffs.

But one does not kill the chance of the other. Even keeping Booker the Jazz have 11-12 million to throw at a wing correct? Also trades are a posibility with this team.

Now I agree that you just don't throw this kind of chemistry under the bus but I fully expect the FO to take a long hard look at several things. One of which is bringing in another wing shooter, possibly starter caliber.

But either way I want Ingles on the team. I'd rate our wings in this order: Hayward, Burks, hood, Ingles, Millsap and Johnson. If the Jazz pick up a wing then he bumps anyone worse than him down a notch, naturally. That's all.

Unless the Jazz are getting an all star, I'll be mad if most of the team isn't brought back. Trey is the only exception, and even him I wouldn't mind to see if he can improve (he yo-yo'd a bit but did have some solid games). They chemistry here is solid, and Joe and Booker are two huge, huge pieces of it. Even little Sap and Cotton to lesser degrees.

Only ones I don't really care if they come back are Johnson, Cooley and Burke (just couldn't get behind him this year, doesn't seem to fit to me). Bring the rest back

Gobert
Favors/Booker/Evans
Hayward/Hood/Ingles
Burks/Millsap
Exum/Cotton

Dl fills in the holes thru draft, free agency and draft.

I like Chris Johnson alright, but there are only so many "you should like me because I suck at basketball, but work really hard" spots on the roster. Johnson, Cooley, Ingles, Millsap, Cotton, they all fit in this category.

Also, has it been mentioned anywhere how short Jack Cooley's arms are? That guy basically makes people say T-Rex has "Jack Cooley" arms. Sad, because he would probably be a decent player if he had some wingspan.

wut?

First off, Ingles doesn't belong in that list.

Second, wut?

Johnson's corner three is pretty wet.

I'm not saying he's irreplaceable, but he's also not the first on the chopping block IMHO

Plays out of control imo. Works out occasionally but I don't see him doing more good than bad. I wouldn't trust him to get minutes next year.

Seems to be that the trend on here is turning more towards let the home cooking continue as opposed to bringing in a new player. That is OK for maybe one more year but this group is not enough to get us to where we want to be, imo.

Still 2-3 pieces short, along with home cooking, of being a championship contender. I'd rather bring that player in next year and let it cook a year or two than bring that player to the team in 2-3 years and hope it works.
