Grass is greener syndrome. Fortunately DL and QS aren't infected.
Judging from what they said about evaluating what qualities they need and what they don't need, I'd say the only major change - if it presents itself - is making a move to get rid of Trey. Burke is a ballstopper and a chucker. He keeps talking about moving to backup being good in the sense that it gives him more offensive opportunities. Not sure that's really the message Quin intended to give him. Whoever is put back there with him (Burks or Hood) will be shut out from the offense, just as Burke was ignoring Hayward when he was a starter. Can't have the LEAST efficient shooter taking the most shots.
Before Hood came back and showed off his shooting, I was in favor of going after someone like Matthews, DMC or even Middleton. Now, I just don't see it. Hood has the smoothest shot we've seen since Korver. He needs to get 25-30 mins. Hayward. of course, will get 33-35. And that leaves Burks, who, pre-injury, was showing a much-improved 3PT shot. But so many are wanting to just toss him aside, giving him basically garbage minutes. I say give most of the 96 wing minutes to those three, working in Jingles and Millsap as needed.
