Before I got the chip in it, I was averaging about 17mpg. No lift, but the biggest tires I could fit under the wheel wells without a lift, so not stock. The diesels are pretty efficient to begin with.

You should look at the 2016 Nissan Titan with the 5.0 liter cummins diesel though. Supposed to be better than anything out there in the 1/2-3/4 ton range next year, and it's supposed to get like 26 mpg.

Our family had a 98 Subaru Forester with 500000kms on it. Kept running until some moron T-Boned my mom while she was driving it.

Ran with 500000 KMs like a ****ing dream. Zero problems. UNHEARD of for Edmonton's climate. Probably similar to 700000kms in California weather.

My excursion with bulletproof, 1,000 lbs of adds, 8" lift, and Netto's for offroad, I get like 9.

Haha, yeah that would take it down pretty quick. You don't have to worry about great mpg when you are running over zombies though.
