When LA loses to SAS in the first round...

Will CP3 be avail? No sense keeping a team together if going nowhere. Is this package enough to get the point guard we need (final piece to championships)?

2015 first
2017 first
2017 GSW 1st
2018 OKC first
Alec Burks
Trey Burke

CP3, Exum
Hayward, free agent
Hood, asap
Favors, Booker
Gobert, Tomic

STFU on Middleton and Deron Williams we need to think huge. DL has not acquired all these assets to sign a no difference maker.

I really don't want Paul, he would eat up all of our cap that we need for Rudy and he really hasn't proved that he can win. He puts up good stats and all but really can't win in the playoffs. Not to mention he's only played in all 82 games once in his career(which happened to be this year FWIW).
Idk, he's a great player but I just don't see it being the best move

This is actually an interesting idea. I don't know if the Jazz would do it, and I don't know if the Clippers would do it. And correspondingly, I don't know if the Jazz would say "no", and I don't know if the Clippers would say "no". That might mean that there's a chance it could happen. And without actually looking things up, the numbers seem like they might work out.

That would certainly be a dangerous Jazz team, or so it seems to me. It would be rolling the dice, though, because (a) Chris Paul would only be under contract for 2 years, and (b) it would severely limit the Jazz flexibility going forward in the future should it NOT work out.

Colton, what I've always appreciated about your posts is your intellectual integrity. You tell us what you don't know before you tell us what you do know. Thank you for just being, man.

This is a Hack-level obvious trade that must get done. I mean, just look at CP3's marvelous track record in the Conference Finals and Championship round. He'll take us there... where he's proven himself time and time again.

I'd rather trade Favors for Westbrook.
With his trade we don't gut the team. With yours we do. Burks is a far less Major piece than Favors is.
.
I'd consider the OP's trade, He forgot Ingles in his rotation which makes our rotation look better than he has it as well.
I'd say no to your trade green. IMO his is better and far more likely.

You are a moron. I wouldn't make this trade. It makes zero sense for this team.

You are seriously the dumbest person alive. You'd have no clue how to manage a team. You'd fail miserably. I guarantee it. You know how I know that. Because you have no ideas. All you do is bag on everyone else's ideas, and cry about anything that's posted. Seriously, wtf do you know about basketball? Absolutely nothing. The only thing that comes out your mouth is crying, whining, and bitching. Go get your dumb mother ****ing *** checked out for whatever it is that plagues you.

Why don't you grow the **** up, and stop acting like a whiney little girl.

I hope you never get off on Fridays, and that you work at a Fridays which is always busy on Fridays.

As of 5:04 today I have not received a neg rep from Hack. I suspect that is because he's currently spreading rep so that he can get me. That tiger. I'll let you know when does. If he pos reps you, let's talk about it here maybe? What's going on guys?

Problem with the trade is...

Giving up way too many assets when we are already heavily invested in two point guards and our offense doesn't even revolve around a point guard like it did with Jerry's offense.. Those point guards will also probably be better next year. And cheaper than CP3. Which hurts our ability to add depth. CP3 is going to be 30 in less than a month. It doesn't match up very well with rest of the average ages on this team. We'd be much better served having those assets available when we are really peaking. CP3 will be declining when the core of this team is in its prime. Making it a huge waste of assets. We would be better with him, but it's not worth it imo. I don't think it guarantees us a championship. CP3 probably bails when his contract is up too.
