Official Thread: 2015 Draft JazzFanz Homer List

If Cy is driving the bobby Portis bandwagon then I'm riding shotgun.

Portis is going to very good, very soon and for a long time.
So my wishes for the Jazz are different from the player I'm picking here. Why? Because I'd like to see Utah trade up. If they stay at #12, Turner would be the guy I'd hope for. But I think Portis is going to be the best value in a couple of years. I'd be ok with Utah trading back for Portis. He can develop under Quin for a year and then take Booker's spot in the rotation.

Porz will be very good, but I'm not sure he outperforms his draft position per se...

Give me Frank the Tank.

Myles Turner - Good player. Great person. I went with unlimited athleticism last year, and it got me a Slam Dunk Competition winner (which was pretty badass actually). I've been really high on both Hezonja and Johnson for awhile now, but Turner has impressed me the most down the stretch.

Been waiting for your pick for a while now, welcome aboard the Turner Train :)

I like a lot of guys in this draft, and at the start of it Myles Turner was off my board because of health concerns. Between his offseason work at correction movement issues, medical clearance from future issues, his production, his work ethic and his character. . . he's the guy I'd like to see end up a Jazz.

I'll take Kaminsky because of the guys I saw in the tournament, which is all the college ball I saw this year, and that was only the big games near the end, he seemed like the best fit for what the Jazz need in a big. A stretch 4 who can pass and has a lot of intangible all-around skills, kind of like a big Hayward. Not great at anything but good at a lot of things.

Thanks bro. Done.
