I vote to have any and all Derrick Favors rumors to be banned from this site. Folks, this is serious business. Do not give credence to this nonsense if you want to have a good basketball team for years to come. We do not want to piss Favors off. There is a very good chance he reads this board at least every once in a while. It's the main Utah Jazz forum out there.

This is one of those scenarios that at first read stings. I like Favors. If a trade happens it had better be for the best - to lose Favors to a player who doesn't pan out will lead to us wanting to crush DL. But so far DL has been wise and so if it happened and we drafted a player with more of an impact than Favors it would be a good trade. Having said that Favors wants to play here, is a good guy, is still young and so I'm HOPING it doesn't happen. Perhaps this is all merely talk as it was last season to confuse the other teams.

Favors is untouchable for anything other than an established young star on a favorable contract - because that's exactly what he is. There's not a single player in this draft worth Favors strait up. Not even Towns. Last year, I'd have considered Wiggins or Parker, but the Jazz are far better off with Favors and Exum. Don't blow that up now.
