Favors wil **** all over this team if he's traded to a different one.

Unless AD, LBJ or Curry are coming our way, you just don't trade a guy who is as young as Derrick, is improving every single year, loves the team and took a discount to stay. If DL or Snyder are behind a trade off Derrick, I'll turn in my Jazz card. And I'm dead serious about that. I will get rid of my Jazz gear and start wearing Warrior gear as soon as I move up to northern CA.
 
I'd trade Favors for any of the following players:

Anthony Davis
LeBron James
Russell Westbrook
Kevin Durrant

That is all. Thank you.

I vote to have any and all Derrick Favors rumors to be banned from this site. Folks, this is serious business. Do not give credence to this nonsense if you want to have a good basketball team for years to come. We do not want to pissed Favors off. There is a very good chance he reads this board at least every once in a while. It's the main Utah Jazz forum out there.

Nobody needs to get worked up. It's funny, though, that as soon as a few reporters say they're convinced everyone then goes along with the group think. Unless DL is incompetent, which perhaps may be, seeing the sense in these situations is like people thinking they see things in Magic Eyes, or people thinking abstract art is actually artistic, simply because everyone, for whatever reason, is raving about it and saying it's "genius." We have a core of players who are starting to mature. We're coming out of rebuilding, not heading into it. We're not moving an established piece for a developmental gamble. We sure as hell aren't trading two birds in hand for a pretty one on a telephone pole.
 
I'm singing this. Absolute BS if you trade him away. Don't you dare **** with that core. We are building a destiny here. And Favors is the focal point of that imo.
 
I'd like to be able to defend Jody because he seems like a good guy and he's likely just passing on a far fetched scenario someone in the Jazz organization related to him, maybe in response to a question like "what's the most outlandish trade idea you guys have considered?" But there really is no defense. I'm so tired of the misuse of unnamed sources by the media. It's become a discredit to the profession and a big reason why journalists have tumbled so far down in respectability. If your source is too gutless to put their name to it, maybe that should be a good indication that it's not worth reporting.
 
I'm sure Derrick Favors, professional basketball player, really appreciates your mothering.
