I think KJ could be as good as Jimmy Butler. That's actually a pretty good comp for him.

Butler is just about to turn 26 and just barely broke out. He couldn't hit the broad side of a barn last year. He figured out how to shoot. Sorta profiled about the same as KJ too.

Bro, where were you when I picked Butler in our league way before he broke out? Do you think I just randomly picked him or because I saw something in him. I see the same sorta of player. You picked him a full year later after I pimped him, then he broke out for you.

You'll probably be scoping to get KJ too.

Odds are he won't be as good, but he could come close to it.

He can't shoot but plays adequate defense. I would take him to round out the bench. That's about it. He isn't very good.
 
He would have been a great draft pick in the 2nd round, but I'm not going to tie up a bunch of cash trying to put an offer that Houston won't match. I don't know if his offensive game will ever come around, but maybe. I'd still rather have DeMarre Carroll.

KJ McDaniels is still a development project, howz about Sonny Weems.

Sonny shot 40% from 3 last year on 4 attempts per game. He averaged 3.5 assists. There's no way a player like Sap would even get a fraction of what he'd get paid in an international league. Just turned 28, so he wants to get back to the NBA before its too late.
