I spent a good bit of time in NZ..... seemed like they were hyper-conscious of non-native trees and bushes. But maybe that's particularly true of the areas in which I spend the most time (Coromandel Peninsula, and parts of the south island). You sell most of your stuff to urban buyers?

Ah ok.. those areas people seem to prefer natives... yeah we sell mostly to urban buyers so they don't much care whether they are natives or not as long as they look good for their homes.. fashion has a lot to do with it, if they see their friends growing it and looking nice they'll more often than not just get the same ones. Gone are the days when u have housewives trying different plants spending all day in the garden, these days it's all about maximum impact, minimum care/effort.

I wonder, do you guys refrain from growing and distributing Gerber Daisies? I mean, their stocks get bent so easily because of their heavy heads. It's an easy way to lose a big percentage of your harvest/capital. Probably really stressful and thus very bad for family relations.

No, he probably thinks Utah was hosting a SL where they were trying to sell tickets (and SL really isn't that important) so he used it as leverage to get what he wants. He is just doing his job. It's not like he was holding out Lyles for months, it was like 4 days.

Also pretty sure every GM has problems with every agent. That is the nature of the relationship, two sides trying to beat the other.

isn't 120% kind of the norm? Is there any evidence that Lindsey was asking the Lyles camp to take less than that? All the evidence of timing seems to be filled with misdirection... when it was probably all about David Lee.

Kevin Pelton and Zach Lowe seem to think it's not a coincidence that Lyles was signed after David Lee was traded. Would have been an interesting pickup, decent backup, although he can't play defense. Would have explained the salary cap thing as well.

DL possibly working angles to get Barnes as a throw in for taking Lee's contract.
