Ok. My sources are reporting that DeAndre Jordan may break off his deal with Mavericks and go back to the Clippers.

Mark Cuban has said that if they didn't get Jordan in free agency then they might tank. Said it on the Colin Cowherd show I believe.


So let's go get Parsons and/or Dirk


Be willing to throw in the GS pick, the OKC pick, Trey Lyles, Trey Burke, and Booker, and some 2nd round picks.


As far as salaries, we may have to swap out Burks with something to get Dirk.

Favors/Dirk
Gobert/Dirk

Or don't get Dirk, or flip him for something, or dont. Whatever

Mark Cuban won't trade Dirk. He pretty much stated that he would make sure that Dirk only ever plays for the Mavs. No thanks on Parsons with that contract and the injury issues from last year.
 
This is pretty dumb... If Dirk gets traded it will be because Cuban and him decided it was best and he'd likely get to pick his destination... my guess is Utah would not be it.

Parsons is okay, but he's their lone younger player and has bought in as their recruiter... It would take more for them to move him than I'd pay. He's also not good enough to screw up their tank.
 
No to Parsons, however, I would be willing to move assets for Dirk. The way our team is structured, we really need a shooting big man and that it is. Inserting a shooting big into the lineup wouldn't effect anyone else. However, I'd go big and start all three of Dirk, Favors and Gobert. Exum / Hayward / Favors / Dirk / Gobert would be a matchup nightmare.
 
Parsons doesnt really bring anything to our team. We already have Hayward, the shooting of Hood or the attacking of Burks is more complimentary than the all-around game Parsons brings.
