What's new

Neto Officially signed.

Jazz like Cotton. Cotton should stay. Don't under-sell Neto, though. He does a lot of things that will help us. Burke should be the odd man out of the rotation.

Burke needs to stick until the deadline. He still has value as a young player with potential and his rookie deal is very palatable. I'm happy to have Neto and Cotton finish out the year as 2/3, and to have Burks take over PG duties in the playoffs.

Are you suggesting we carry 4 PGs into the season (includes Exum)?

Burke has too much potential to cut. He really just needs to fix his shot selection and he is better than Neto or Cotton.

Burke is one of the worst pg in the league by most statistical models. He has had the opportunity to start since his arrival and has sucked. I'm willing to see what's out there. I think we can t lose.

That could be a possibility but I think: Exum > Cotton > Burke > Neto

So if we're keeping 3, why not Exum, Cotton and Burke?
Maybe burke would not be happy as a third stringer?

We don't need no 6'0" shoot-first PG that struggles on defense. Trey Burke is the odd-man-out.

Neto will surprise, and no doubt his playmaking skills alone will win over the Jazz fans. He was already a good prospect watching him in the Orlando SL 2 years ago. He's only gotten better. I'm actually quite surprised the Jazz got him to sign for less than 1 million/year.

In Lindsey I trust.

Well you keep Exum, Cotton and Burke, but obviously Cotton would be 3rd string unless it's apparently that Cotton >>> Burke.
Ok
Maybe burke simply wants to be traded and so that's why the jazz trade him

OK but what is not apparent right now is what DL is going to do with Burke? Are you saying we're trading him?

Are you OK with Exum, Cotton, Neto PG lineup when you want to make the Western Conference playoffs? To me that's thin.

IMO Neto is a better prospect than Cotton.

I really liked Cotton, but I think he couldn't be solid enough to stay on the team. Few good games in April last year doesn't say much... In the summer league, two bad games and one good.

It's difficult. But I would choose Raulzinho.
