Utah Jazz vs Pheonix Suns - ESA - 8:30p mst - February 11, 2010

If this follows past trends, I expect Phoenix to launch and make an avalanche of 3 pointers from all over the court forcing the Jazz to continuously scramble to keep up while never managing to do so. Fry, Dudley, Nash, and Goric will each make at least 3 pointers.

Jazz will fall behind by double digits early and will never be able to make up the ground.

I'm jaded; I now expect to lose at home to good or even decent teams.

I dunno, Suns got momentum and our bench is even more thin tonight. Like, paper thin as opposed to pencil thin. So i dunno what to think.

Is it really? Depending on substitution patterns it doesn't have to be. We could juggle Al/Sap/Fes/Elson pretty effectively to match any Big lineup the Suns throw at us. Deron/Watson vs. Nash/Dragic is pretty even. And on the wings we only lose Bell and Price which, ahem, is like addition by subtraction. AK/CJ/Hayward can split 96 minutes if they have to, and we haven't even talked about the ways Evans could get into the mix. We're fine.

Nothing wrong with that...the product we have seen as of late has been garbage.

First, killer job on the Phoenix spelling, champ.

Second, love the fact that Bell's injury is forcing Corbin to go with a superior lineup. Screws up quite a few storylines.

What I'd like to think is that Corbin actually forced Bell's (and Price's) injury. All hail the new cheif!

(the transposition was just for you, tater)

I think Deron probably went all Shane Stant on Raja and Ronnie. It's the only logical explanation. Memo, too, would be performing at an all-star level if not for Deron.

In the meantime, I expect to see Deron play some of his best ball of the season tonight and the team's effort and intensity to be off the charts.

I don't know about that. His wrist is still injured and he is pissed the fans have turned on him.

I think Corbin goes to 1-0 in a close back and forth game...gonna be so weird. I wonder if Sloan will be watching on tv
