It's crap like this why I don't like JazzFanz. A mod derails a thread 5 posts in.

Even if it's a joke, its still a stupid post. I wish I could like this place more, but I just don't.

I will strongly disagree with you there. Not saying joking about it is classy but wishing it on someone is absolutely worse imo.

Those doing either shouldn't really be talking about what is classy anyways.

He backed it up and continued the supposed joke. If it was a joke it was insensitive and a low blow. He deserved to be attacked for it. The statement was more than dumb. Therefore the attacks were warranted IMO.

I disagree. I think his post was one of the most insensitive and classless I've ever read on here. Making fun of somebody, or attacking them (whichever it was) for a serious injury is in very bad taste. So I don't really care if he was serious or not. To me the post was worse than 99.9 % of the posts on this site.

I like Rev and You for the most part. I just think his posts in here were uncalled for.

I have no problem with the bolded, I don't. Call him out and tell you him you think it is classless and that it disgusts you. That you shouldn't be making fun of an injury. Good.

But people are embracing this common tendency to dramatically over react. They want to act like Rev came to their house and shot their dog. Ridiculous.
 
Apparently we have to know extensive histories of this forum's moderators and userbase to "get" their jokes.

This place is ridiculously cliquey, as evidenced by the fact that a handful of members have their own private forums to circlejerk in.

Did any post against Rev in this thread attack him more than he did Exum? I don't think so (maybe the one by stifle wishing injury). Therefore the attacks to me were not over the line he established, and therefore were not overreacting.
