Rudy Gobert Injured?

Apparently we have to know extensive histories of this forum's moderators and userbase to "get" their jokes.

This place is ridiculously cliquey, as evidenced by the fact that a handful of members have their own private forums to circlejerk in.

Would love to be in the middle of that circle fwiw.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying. But there just isn't a better board for Jazz talk. All the others have far worse problems than this one.

I will strongly disagree with you there. Not saying joking about it is classy but wishing it on someone is absolutely worse imo.

Those doing either shouldn't really be talking about what is classy anyways.
I'm interested in why you believe that Rev meant this as a joke. Even if you somehow thought it was meant as a joke at first, didn't your opinion of his intent change when he defended his original statement with the stuff about injury seeking out the weak... or do you find that funny too?

I have nothing against Rev, and I think it would be a tragedy if he committed suicide over the course this conversation has taken (a possibility I only mention because Fish threw it out there), but I find his statements in this thread to be absolutely asinine.

What are the other ones?
realgm has a board, It's horrible, but they have one. I think there is one at ESPN or something. I stopped looking ages ago. Forgot where the other are at. Either nobody ever posts in them or they kick anybody for arguing or there is virtually no moderation. I like this board because it has the best balance for me.

Or simply not over react to everything.

I'm done with this thread. You can stay or go as you please, I don't care.
Or how about moderators simply shouldn't troll a thread about a potential injury, especially a week after a devastating, season-changing injury happens?

I clicked on this topic hoping to find updates on Gobert's ankle, and instead I get this stupid ****storm, and lo and behold, it was all caused by a moderator. You can say we're over reacting, but Rev literally baited the thread and derailed it before it could even start.

Any idiot would know what kind of reaction a post like that would get, and yet, he posted it anyway.

Awesome job, guys.

/r/UtahJazz is absolutely better than JazzFanz, though it's not very active. Hopefully more people will defect from here and head over there.

It's really great, because stupid posts like Revs are just downvoted, and you don't even have to read them.

https://www.reddit.com/r/UtahJazz

Reddit is a forum-type place where content is rated by the userbase. Theres' a wide variety of subjects that have a subreddit, and Utah Jazz is one of 'em. People post news or videos, and you comment on them, and vote whether you like the content or not. If stuff gets a lot of votes, its bumped up to the top. If it gets down-votes, it's lowered to the bottom, and out of sight. Every team has their own subreddit, as does the general NBA. (https://www.reddit.com/r/NBA)

The UtahJazz subreddit is pretty slow right now, and not very populated to begin with. But I find it more informative and less cliquey than here, at least.
