What's new

Donald Trump

I think when it comes to governor against governed, people are more ready to fit into the new concepts of political images than one would think. As long as the campaign is not pushing ethical limits or getting lost in philosophical paradoxes to find some uber-notion, but instead keep it real and have the guts to say the things undoable and being honest about mistakes and really actually working and thinking for the good of the people, I don't see a reason for people to ignore someone or some movement just because it doesn't apply the same methods of the previous politicians.

I post therefore I am...

I cannot disagree with this. It's the main reason I love listening to Bill Clinton speak as ex-president. I want nothing more than stright forward candidates running as you describe them. I call it putting the ******* back inside the box. Most politicians are pretty legit good people when they choose to do so.

Sanders is a serious candidate with substantial service behind him as public servant and elected official.

You just don't like Sanders because he's a liberal (I'm guessing).

This isn't about ideology, however. My objection to Trump has nothign to do with his ideological bent; it has to do with the fact that he's a loud mouthed, racist, sexist, bloviating, buffoon of a vanity candidate who is a horrible person that is ill fitted in every respect to be President.

I don't like Sanders because he's an economic disaster waiting to happen. I don't care about the party lines as much as you seem to.

One could say the same thing about Sanders and the Democrats.

Trump won't, and shouldn't win. He's a horrid person and would make a poor president.

horrid person he seems
poor president he seems

but if he keeps half of his promises. especially if he renegotiate a real deal with iran.

he would STILL be a better person and president then Hitler, ooh i'm sorry did i say hitler i meant obama. these days i get really confused between hitler and obama they are so alike when it comes to their jew hating and trying to completely exterminate jews/israel

saunders is a true socialist. sincce when has socialism ever worked.
che guevera, fidel, and ltos of others.

I don't think he was saying that we should change humanity. Rather the way elections work.

I would love to get rid of the two party system

you do know there are different kinds of socialism right.
and there ar emore things to socialism.
just because he does not want conversion of PS to SO means he isnt a socialist.

At the heart of just about any definition of socialism is something referring to the belief in the collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. You are the one who said he's a 'true' socialist, but now you're saying he's not a 'true' socialist, but some variation of a watered down socialist.

So just how is he a socialist?

Without reading any of the posts in this thread (so I can be completely clear and devoid of poster-bias one way or another), I will say anyone that backs this clown (Trump) is twice the clown or more than he is (and that's saying more than those words ever could).

That's all I have to say about that.

He has been vague, rude, arrogant and ingnorant tonight. He is a nightmare.

This debate has scared the living **** out of me. It feels like we're one electric politician away from a nightmare.

I for one hopes he wins, maybe that would be the one and only eye opener for this dumbed down society.

GOP candidates I cannot support: Bush, Trump, Huckabee, Paul, Christie (I like him though), Cruz and Fiorina.

I by far prefer Carson. Not even close. I need to know more about Walker and Rubio.
