Is Sap running out of gas as a starter?

Methinks he was simply over-rated, especially by JazzFanz.

I think this team is running out of gas.

The truth is, Millsap is a slightly more skilled Udonis Haslem. He's not Karl Malone.

this team lacks talent.

He's a hard worker and I love the guy, but I've never agreed with the notion that he should start. I'd much rather Big Al start at the 4 and have Fes or Okur (when healthy) start at the 5.

Clearly we would be better starting Big Al as PFF and bringing Millsap off the bench, BUT, clearly K Fes is not ready for starter minutes. I think Sap is finding being a starter is much harder than coming off the bench. He is a great rebounder when his motor is running high, but when he is tired, he is just an average rebounder.

An extremely tough post, but I have to agree. ****, I love Millsap and think he's talented as all get out but he needs to be moved to the bench and AJ needs to take his spot. STAT.

All I want to know is where the rebounding went. That has little to do with running out of gas, it's been lackluster all year.

February's his best month so far imo. Yes Ocotber's numbers are better but we played just three games that month. If 'Sap can keep it up this month, I'd say no, he hasn't run out of gas.

Do you think his rebounding and defense is what it was 2-3 years ago? Seems like he does not play as hard on the defensive end as he used to.

I thought Sap could hold down the 4 and Jefferson would flourish at the 5. I was dead wrong.

I love Sap and his work ethic, but there is no other way to slice it: He is a 6th man. The Utah Jazz would be much better served with Sap coming off the bench, Jefferson sliding over to the 4, and somehow, someway acquiring an honest-to-goodness Center to come in and man the 5.

I know some will flame me for this, but I would look to trade D-Will for as good of value as possible and attempt to rebuild this team from the inside-out.
