Dude, it's buenos dias. Even though dia ends in a, it's considered masculine. Hence, buenos dias. Kind of like mano (hand). It ends in o, but is feminine. La mano, las manos. There are many other words like this. On another note, el agua (water) follows this, until it is plural. Then it becomes las aguas.

It's about 18:15 here and I have to attend to a weeding ceremony on the other side of town and kill this Saturday evening of which I have worked my butt off until coming home but here is a morning kiss to you dear.
