How do you know HOW we vote?
At any rate, on any reported post, it takes 3 mods to vote for the same option (infraction, warning, ignore or PM) for the report to be closed and an action taken. Sometimes the first 3 mods to vote will all vote the same and the action is taken and the report is closed very quickly.
Other times, a report can stay open for several days before an action is taken. Also, regarding what is considered inappropriate, or trolling or whatever, we each have slightly different standards. So who sees the report first may impact the result of the vote.
Most times, whatever the action, unless a post is edited or a user receives an infraction that puts them in "ban" territory, nobody will know what was decided because it is not publicized. Unless of course, a warning or infraction is issued and the poster publicly complains about it. Or no action is taken and the "reporter" complains that the mods never do anything right. Or action is taken and a thread is locked and they complain that the mods never do anything right.
And then some just complain that the mods just never do anything. Those are the best.
By the way, for anyone who cares, I had a decent day at bowling yesterday and my team won all 7 points from our opponents. We're in good shape - though the season is young. Thanks for caring.
