Bridge of spies was really well done. They went a bit overboard with some of the "We are so lucky we live in America" stuff. It was just kinda in your face. But other than that the acting was really well done, and the story followed the actual events really well. If you don't know the story, its really good and well told.

Tom hanks might be the best actor of my generation

brough, are you srs?? I liked Forrest Gump and Big, but the roles where he plays the TRUE EVERYDAY GUY are absolutely obnoxious. This new film of his looks like it might be his worst. The one thing I can't handle in combination with Tom Hanks is patriotism.

This is one of those cases of to each their own i guess but just off the top of my head, i thought he was fantastic in The Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan, and Captain Phillips.


edit: After looking up his career i would also say he was great in Splash, Bachelor Party, The Money Pit, Dragnet, Turner and Hooch, A League Of Their Own, Sleepless in Seattle, Philadelphia (won an oscar for that one, along with forest gump), Apollo 13, Catch me if You Can, The Terminal, and The Da Vinci Code. Plus the toy story movies (though i dont take cartoons into consideration)

Im a huge tom hanks fan.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm late to seeing this. I'm glad I did. What a fantastic movie. Pun intended.

At this point, I think there are varying degrees of likability among Mr. Anderson's films but there's not one that I dislike. Good solid story with very funny characters and the voices were just perfect. I think I could listen to George Clooney talk all day.

It's probably a good kid movie too.

I thought one of youz had recommended this movie but maybe I'm mistaken. I don't see it mentioned.

It was an entertaining movie, I'll give it that, but many of the scenes are so absurd and, frankly, unbelievable that the movie irked me. I think many times these types of complaints have more to do with me than the movie itself. It's kind of like In Bruges and the complaints I had with that movie. I found myself thinking, "I'm so ****ing sure." many times.

Like most Swedish movies, it's shot well, the acting is solid and the sound is good. You might like it.

92% on RT seems way too high in my opinion. I would have given it 60% or so.
