Calderon would be a great pick-up, the vet we need. Not a good defender but we have a pg who is a good defender. We need someone with experience to man the point while we wait for Dante. Calderon for two years would be fine. Moving Burke would be not only in the Jazz's best interests, but his as well.

I think so, definitely, a lot better than a fair number of NBA point guards, some of whom are starters -- though they are better offensively.

Calderon is not good anymore. His shooting doesn't outweigh his negative on defense and he is not nearly the distributor he used to be.

Not saying Burke is necessarily a better option at this point, he looked like Calderon on defense last night, but Knicks trade Calderon for Burke without thinking twice.

Root for the Pacers to lose like crazy and go after George Hill. That or maybe scour the d-league for a guy who hustles defensively and knows what he's doing out there and has some shot and ability to run a team. There has to be someone like that in the d-league.

It's possible the Pacers are crap. George Hill would require giving up a few first round picks in addition to Burke.
