And this is how far I got.I think Curry is getting too cocky for his own good. Yeah, he's great but he doesn't have the athleticism to dominate like Jordan, and once teams figure this out, his numbers will start to decline.
If I'm defensing him,
And this is how far I got.
lol
Yep.
Great thing about this team is that next year Hayward, favors, Gobert, Burks, and hood are all still under contract and we (like everyone else unfortunately) will have tons of money to spend in the off-season.
Now I'm hopeful for Exum but I hope the jazz go all in on an all star type pg next summer. Exum can play the pg and sg and will be able to find decent minutes. Plus he will still be super young and can be a backup for a while.
I think after this year of development these guys will be ready to win and take the next step. Just need a point guard that is ready to take that step with them
Naw...if Hood threw an alley-oop to Burks, that would have left at least 10 seconds on the clock. More than enough time for the best shooter in the history of the NBA to make a game winning shot on us. The right thing to do was take a shot with a second or less left on the clock, Hayward vs. Cleveland style...How about an alley-oop? Would have brought the house down.

One good thing about GS's winning streak is that they might be worn town near the end of the year. They are expending a lot of energy trying to win these less meaningful games early in the year. The longer the streak continues at this point the better.
I dunno about that. This was, what, the first time in 4 games where Curry even played in the 4th quarter?
If Curry gets hurt again, they're done. He's the engine that runs the machine. Jazz should have finished it off last night. They had the moment, but it was too big for them. Someday soon though.
I'm eager to see what the trade deadline brings. If the Jazz can pick up a higher level starting PG with some of the assets at their disposal, they could make some noise heading into the playoffs.

The Warriors are currently sitting at an NBA History's best 18-0.
Draymond Green has recorded two straight triple-doubles coming into this game. Curry leads the league in scoring at 31.9 PPG.
But none of that matters.
At 10 PM, they'll be 18-1.

Our Jazz are going down in history as the team that broke the streak.

(They're not churros, but close enough, Gordon)
But enough foreplay.
Gents, I present to you the first ever Jazz Game Thread Video.

If I had a choice between up 1 with 10 sec left and a Rodney Hood missed 3 I'd take the up 1. Another option would have been to get the ball to Hayward just as got to Rudy. His guy was trailing by 6 ft. He would have had a clear path to the basket around Favor's screen. If Green had dropped down to cover Hayward he could have given the ball up to Favors for an easy dunk. Or swing it over to Burks and let him go at Curry.Naw...if Hood threw an alley-oop to Burks, that would have left at least 10 seconds on the clock. AgreedI love Rodney, but I think he tried to be the hero. With Hayward back on his game he needs to be the one making the decisions at the end of the game. Trust in Hayward.
I'm trying not to read too much into Hood's shot to lose the game, but it's kind of hard considering how bad it was. Hoping it was an exercise in simply over or under-thinking and nothing else.

Especially with Curry guarding him. Biggest mismatch on the floor.I was pissed it wasn't Burks.
