Quotes from W's forums

I think our overall talent level is close to GS, just in different ways. I love how the GS philosophy is to get 30 assists per game. Thier unselfish play and ball movement is what makes them so difficult to guard. Utah used to do that.

We don't have the talent that golden state has. And they use a ton more posessions than we do per game, which gives them like 10-15% more chances to assist. 30 assists for them is like 26 assists for us.

I think the key for Rudy is getting stronger and developing a vice grip on the ball. He has decent footwork and some nice up and under moves, but the ball is too easily knocked loose out of his hands, so more times than not it leads to turnover.

Yep. And this would help catching passes and passing too.

Rudy is becoming an elite passer. That is a huge improvement.

Disagree. Gobert is below average passer for a starting NBA big. Huge gap to close to the Noah/ Bogut/ Duncan/ Garnett/ Green elite level. His assist % is ~the same: 14.3% last year 13.9% this year.

And the homer of the year award goes to....

GS talent is elite all-time level. We're on the road to becoming very good, with becoming great a possibility.

Rudy isn't going to become noticeably stronger anytime soon, maybe ever.

Do you think he is going to stop his offseason strength programs, or do you they will stop effectively adding muscle to his frame? His strength is clearly increasing each year, not sure why we think it would plateau at this age, especially with his passion to improve.

Has there been a team that played the Dubs better than we did? Toronto is getting mauled right now

Completely disagree. We don't have that one superstar but Hayward Gobert and Favors are very damned talented then add Burks and Hood who can ball as well. We just don't have a steph curry is all. Don't sell the Jazz short.

And Exum when he comes back I think will prove some people wrong.

Not selling the jazz short, but saying we have the same talent as them is pretty absurd. The warriors might be the best team in history, and Steph Curry is just one player.

We have some good players, but we need a better bench and we need Exum to be a superstar one day.

I do agree that Favors, Hayward and Gobert are awesome. They are better than any of the GSW players outside of Curry and Draymond Green. But GSW have sooooooo many good players, while the Jazz basically have 4 good players on their team, and 2 other rotation players.

Also, the way Golden States talent fits together is amazing. They just work, and they are shocking the league.

I am on the Exum bandwagon. I think that kid is going to be great. If he is not, we will be good, but will have to look elsewhere to find superstar talent.
I have never wanted to be wrong about a player more than I want to be wrong about exum.

**** it, I'm on the exum will be awesome bandwagon too. He was fantastic when I saw him in summer league this year. His size, speed, and age all bode well. A stud on defense. I even love those exum shoes someone posted about recently
