Also, I love how you never responded to my initial post, ya know, about how playing time would be a major issue, not to mention other things I didn't mention, like clearly defined roles and the notion that Jackson may have had zero interest in coming here not only because of the city and culture but because of the fact that it was pretty obvious Exum was our starting point guard. Let's continue to ignore what could have very obvious issues in signing him or other wings.

I don't really have the time or interest to spend 15 minutes on getting into it on my 30-minute break, but the first thing is Hood wasn't demanding huge minutes (and frankly isn't demanding them so far this year in the aggregate), and saying Jackson wouldn't want to be here is 100% conjecture (at least if we're talking about location).

His family is in the Springs which wouldof been nice for him. He is a laid back good kid off the court too and would of fit in well since yall like clean cut guys on your team.

Do you actually think the Jazz have too much talent at the 1-3 currently? As a coach, you give minutes to the players who help you win now and in the future. You let management worry about roster construction.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have a team struggling to figure out what to do with excess talent than a team playing fringe NBA players rotation minutes. Keep in mind, the Spurs have had loaded rosters for a while, and manage just fine. So far this season, Tony Parker is averaging 27 minutes, Danny Green is averaging 26 minutes, and Boris Diaw is averaging 19 minutes. Trevor Booker is averaging 22 minutes, Rodney Hood is averaging 30 minutes, Trey Burke is averaging 23 minutes, and Raul Neto is averaging 17 minutes.

What the Jazz need is less talent...What a ****ing joke.

Not really. The Jazz are effectively at the salary floor for the second consecutive season, and below the cap (i.e. well below the LT) for the third consecutive season.They don't have anyone up for a new contract this coming offseason, so the Jazz will be below the cap again next season -- or possibly slightly above if they use all their cap space (hahahahahaha) and their space MLE -- and nowhere near the luxury tax. Contracts are shorter under the new CBA, and can be stretched out in buyouts using the stretch provision. The most expensive multi-year player DL has acquired to date is Trevor Booker (who the Jazz had an option to buy out after 1 season...so maybe Pleiss is DL's most expensive multi-year acquisition to date. Let that sink in.). That Jazz fans are worried about the cap situation and minutes allocation of a team at the salary floor, 4 games below .500, with an idle GM, playing fringe players real minutes is crazy.
