Hayward excitement level

He is only guarded by the player across from him. I see no doubles or really any focus when Burks was slashing up a team you could see a real focus on him. Hood has had teams match him up differently like the when they put Tony Allen was matched up on Hood. He was on Hayward then they rotated him over due to the big game Hood was having and Hood still ended up with 30 pts.

I was thinking what Haywards comps are I'm thinking Tayshawn Prince, AK, and Matt Harpring

Hayward is key if we want a future.

I think he is sick of having no one around him and other teams being able to take him out because we have no one else.

Look at Leonard from the Spurs. Swap him with Hayward and I bet you Hayward does better on the spurs and Leonard worse on the Jazz than Hayward.

Hayward was awesome against Miami. He was aggressive and played with a killer instinct. I just wish he could have games like that more frequently.

I can't see Hayward as more then a role player.

A role player is one or two dimensional player with limited all-around NBA skills who fills a limited and well-defined role:
....Korver/ Novak = 3 point shooter
.....Battier/ Bowen = 3 and D
.....Rambis/ Mahorn = bruising defensive interior anchor
.....Rim protector = Eaton, Deandre, Rudy

Hayward is anything but a role player. One could argue that his skills will never be "elite enough" and that is a good discussion. But the guy has a solid all-around multidimensional game.

don't underestimate how much easier it is on these sort of players if they play with 3-4 other studs ...

I understand that. Leonard is still easily better, in any situation.
