Russell Westbrook: Enes Kanter should win Sixth Man of the Year

So does maturity, dedication and attitude.

I'm with themanknownassting, piss of Kanter you douche.

You're being trolled, as are many others here. Recognize it, and then move the thread to General Sports.

Immediately after that interview were Kanter says he didn't bring it all everyday Locke says it might be a language barrier. Kanter likely meant he didn't play well every night.

Regarding the 6th man talks, meh RW is his team mate. People are always going to stick up for their team mate.

I don't doubt that Locke tried to play if off. I also don't buy the excuse.

I think he should be in the running

I think he should be in the running

He is having a pretty damn good statistical year, including defensive improvement. However, I don't think a 20 mpg guy with low box scores deserves 6th man even if his per36 #'s and shooting stats are shocking me. He's 3rd or 4th in the league in shooting %.

If Kanter was getting 30 minutes per game there, he would have some pretty nice numbers. He's great per minute. But his defense and passing is so bad that they won't give him much burn. Which is weird because of how much they are paying him. I don't understand what they are doing with that whole situation.

Funny thing about it. Kanter wanted out because he was getting less minutes and getting benched. He's goes to the Thunder and gets even less minutes there. He got paid which is nice, but I wonder how he feels about that. He made his situation worse. I'm sure he would have been matched here too.

His team is one of top three teams in the NBA right now with a historically high points per possession. And their core is super young, he will have plenty of chance to win one before our cores do.

Assuming, of course, Durant remains, And if ,Durant and Westbrook both demand $30M/per on their next contracts, OKC may not be able to keep that core intact, especially when their 6th man is making $16M.

but, I thought that teams could sign anyone to any amount because the cap is going up? Kanter's contract should have no effect on the team.
