Trade for Jabari Parker

I agree that trading for a young player who has a lot of potential (but has yet to realize it) is a route the Jazz should be seeking out. I'd be down with Jabari at the right price (not sure what that is exactly).

Anything up to and including any combination of hood burke, Burks and anyone not named Hayward, favors, gobert or exum.

No to Hayward, Favors, Gobert and Exum. I'd also like to keep Hood and Lyles (who I don't think moves the needle much anyways.) Anyone else and any pick the Jazz have coming up should be on the table. Make as big of a move as you can at the deadline, (plus maybe a small one to shore up the bench) and then use the draft picks and free agency to fill any weak spots before next year. Jazz HAVE to start winning if they want to keep Hayward and Gobert.

Burks has value (even injured) with that contract, Burke has raised his value over the course of the season (possibly dramatically) and Withey is probably the team's best moveable asset. Booker can be used for salary matching purposes, and the Jazz could offer 4 strait years of draft picks (including a likely lottery pick in this upcoming draft.) They have the assets to get something done - whether they want to is still up in the air.

But wouldn't Jabari be taking over Favors' starting position? You don't trade for him to be a backup, not if he's this great savior come to be our 'go-to" scorer.

Just glad the Favors and Burks reported trade rumor for Parker never happened. Of course Utah might have had a shot at Simmons this summer and probably would have had a top-10 pick last draft.

You would have said the same thing about Charles Barkley. You clearly have no idea what it takes to be a good basketball player. Skill is the most important thing. Smarts, heart, etc.. You are just gonna look real dumb when Jabari devlops. I could care less what the man's body looks like. You apparently focus too much on his body. That's not healthy for a supposedly married straight man.
