Trade for Zach Lavine

lol of course he is. I think Harden could actually play D if he applied himself and wasn't worn out from offense and partying with hoes. I don't think Lavine can work it out, if he ever does he could be the second coming of Michael Jordan. Can't see it happening.

I get that bad players can put up numbers on bad teams, but guess what, so can good players. Karl Towns is putting up nice numbers for them? Why don't you apply than same flawed logic to him?

He's doesn't need to become the next Michael Jordan to be a really good player and someone worth targerting. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.

I don't think hes a generational talent like Jordan, but he surely has all star potential.

can't think of many one way all star players ?? maybe Korver last year ?
 
I'm really just beside myself that me, PGAB, and maybe couple others are the only people on this board who see his potential. It's not like we are going out on a limb here. It's pretty easy to see. He has freakish athleticism. He can shoot the ball with range. He has good handles, he can pass the ball. His only weaknesses are that he needs to work on his defense and turnovers a little. But he's only 20 years old. Normally people would give a young player a pass, especially with all that going for them.

I really can't figure out why people don't like his upside.

it's ok dude .. i see why you like him, i just don't agree with you All good, each to their own. I could certainly see him being a valuable instant offense type player, maybe a 6th man type. Just not all star level from what i perceive as his lack of nous. Maybe he will learn, but my feel is that's going to be a struggle for him. I remember watching Harold Miner who seemed a very similar player early on and he completely busted
