Jazz vs Wolves

Amazing how little respect Booker gets from jazzfanz. Back in the day guys like Booker were guys winning teams tried to hold on to for 5-7 years. I can see him as part of a winning equation but we only care about guys that can put up large numbers of points and look sexy doing it. I hope Booker is a part of this team for a long time.

LOL

LeBron averaged 27, 7 and 7 at Towns' age.

edit: KD was pretty ****ing good at 20 as well.

Different for Lebron. He had a year in the league as a pro under his belt.

Also, it's a common adage that big men take longer to develop, so for a big to be this good this young is unique.

Uh...I was responding to a response about performance at age 20, not performance as a rookie. LeBron was more impressive at 20 than Towns.

And I;m responding to your response...

Also the stats are a lot closer if you do per 48 since Lebron played an ungodly amount of minutes his 2nd year (nearly 43 per game compared to KAT's 29).

It's a good sign that they were able to take control in the third. I was worried. The Jazz have had trouble with playing to the level of competition. 3 wins in a row would be the first time this season.

Hood is putting together a very nice string of games. Favs is great.

Booker has had a lot of great games and a fair amount of terrible games. I think it comes with the territory of the emotional energy persona. I do know he loves playing here.

I think we will see some more pump fakes on Rudy in the future. I don't think it takes him long to get over it though.

24 assists is a very good sign! 18 is league worst, 24 would be 5th-6th best if we could average that.

I'm not convinced Wiggins is a transcendent talent. He's a great athlete. Will still be a good player, but nothing like a Lebron or KD.

I'd still Parker over him, and I'd take Lavine over Wiggins

Wiggins just doesn't do much else besides score. Which is why he will still be good. But where are the assists, rebounds, steals, blocks ?

You can't be serious.

Wiggins, while I agree I don't think he is going to be a top-10 player, is still a two way monster. The only thing that really worries me about him is the lack of a 3pt shot.

He is miles ahead of LaVine and light-years ahead of Parker.

LeBron also nearly took that team - whose third best player was either Jeff McInnis or Drew Gooden -- to the playoffs. Not saying Towns doesn't look great, but you don't have to go back further than LeBron (or maybe even KD) to find a more impressive 20-year-old.

Lavine could seriously be one of the best players in the NBA if he wants to. He just has to want to be great. I think what's just as impressive as his hops, is how fast he is. He runs like a cat. It's long quick strides.

He just needs to sharpen up his handles, defense, and decision making. I think the handles will come. He's shown some nice things he can do with the ball, but has shown to have a loose handle at times too though.

I think that people might just start talking about as being better than Wiggins some point soon.

I'm really hoping he figures it out. Will be a joy to watch.

What's cool about him too is he's tough. You see him roll his ankle then walk it off like a champ, instead of rolling around on the ground crying? He could be tough one.
