For Jazz ,4 team race (Portland,Houston,Dallas,Utah) 3 make it

2 teams youthful and 2 teams relying on veteran play....who will be the odd team out

Right now Jazz the team outside looking in ,

Jazz the only team of the 4 who hitches their fortunes on defense ,the other 3 don't have the team to win by defense.

Clearly the biggest concern is Neto ready to facilitate enough offense from the PG position to justify his minutes.

Portland has guard play where guard play can get you to the playoffs ,but.......

Dallas seems vulnerable because they are older veterans ,can they hold up

Houston, seems like Harden doesn't have enough help


Utah has Gobert,Favors ,Hayward healthy ,they look like the best 3some of the 4 teams ....Utah is primed for a run

I think the Jazz have a better shot than all but Houston to be honest. If the Jazz had been fully healthy, they're looking at 4th or 5th seed. They're getting healthy and playing solid defense. That should translate well to finish the year. I think that by the time it's all over, it will be. . .

Portland's schedule will be too tough here after the All Star break. They've over achieved and it's going to start showing up soon. And yeah, the Spurs will wreck the Jazz. But I'd still rather see them make the playoffs and build off that success. Still a lot of basketball left to be played.

Even if Golden State is the greatest basketball team of all time, I'd rather play them in the playoffs instead of the Spurs. We would be swept by the Spurs in four blowout losses. We match up far better with the dubs.
