Exactly Snyder's strategy to trade players. He did the same with a previous player but it fired back when the player demanded for a trade. Other than that, Snyder worked it really successfully.

So you think the Jazz were planning implicitly to trade Kanter no matter what before season trade before the trade deadline. So why they didn't communicate him clearly that he will be traded so he could avoid to ask publicly to be traded?

Don't you remember man? Quin was obviously shopping him. I have said this countless times back then. Then the other stuff happened.

Yes I remember it very well but I think the Jazz management (the coach included) is not honest with some players. Anyway I'm not surprised, the Nba is mainly business.

The Burke management is questionable too. Burke didn't play the last games before the trade deadline becasue of a flu, he was on trading block in little words. They actively shopped him but at the end they decided to not trade him. I'm not sure that no team was interested to take him. He is a decent point guard that can score and his contract is acceptable.

Funny thing is we are missing Trey's scoring punch off the bench. We need Alec to come in and fill that gap, or we're hosed.

I bet Detroit and him would be soulmates. Hell even his father tweets #freehim. And what's up with that? Parents should leave their kid alone. They are pressuring him all the time with actions like that.

I respect Burke for his professionalism. The Jazz are treating him like a garbage player.

I dont understand the trey benching. I havent seen anything that says mack should play over him.

Before he got benched he played like **** and it wasn't a slump or just his defensive limitations. He wasn't there mentally... he played himself to the bench guys. If we got the Trey that was good at the beginning of the year that'd be great but that guy may not come back.

Also, Mack has played 3 pretty good games out of 5... he's been fine and having another threat with the starting guys I think helps.

Even if we're done with him, he should play over Neto to improve his trade value. Parking him on the bench for the rest of the season would mean we'd be letting him go for a second round pick or some ****.

Burke's trade value is already in the dumpster. Playing him at this point won't change that, unless he grows several inches and gets a lot quicker.

Oh God, here ****ing go again. Stop using Burke as a bridge to bring up Kanter and how that poor baby was treated by the Jazz. Nobody wants to hear that ****.

I'm not so sure making the playoffs as an #8 seed really matters this year. Gaining playoff experience matters if you have a snowball's chance of winning a series. This year's #8 seed is going to be the ceremonial first sacrificial victim of the GS machine where they destroy us by at least 20 PPG while Curry notches 30 points and sits the 4th quarter.

I know the difference between getting a lottery pick vs. #15 or #16 is miniscule, but face it, we're nowhere near the top of the west with our current makeup and we can't count on Burks/Exum being back to make the difference.

If the Jazz can't win a playoff series by next year, I could see Quin not being retained and a FO shakeup. The fans want a championship-caliber team, not one to sit in the back half of the playoffs and jettisoned by the elite.
