Who are current glue/3 and d/great leadership guys in the league?

Don't think we have one and we could really really use a vet in this regard to be vocal, lead, keep us poised and maybe even hit the occasional big bucket here or there. Not that all these guys fit the same role but who's out there that resembles a Bruce Bowen, James Posey on the Celts, or more vocally speaking, Draymond Green.

Is there anyone like this at all who we could maybe attain? Tony Allen? Dude can't shoot a lick though. ????

#Bulldog #stillneed

I've read elsewhere that you're on the Bazemore train. He's good.

I like bazemore and carroll. Not positive that either are better than hood hayward or Burks though.

I still have plenty of hope that burks is going to be one of the best bench players in the league and be a 6th man of the year candidate year in and out and he will be cheaper than bazemore or carroll.

Hell no to Tony allen

As much as I have hated on Exum, he may be a great leader, we know he is a good defender, he might be a great glue guy..... His three point shooting is worrisome but he is so so young and quin is good at developing guys.... Maybe Exum is the guy we are looking for.

I hate to say it cause we having been hearing this for the last few years now but maybe so we really need is for the team to be healthy and get a bit older/more experience.

It sounds like the company line crap that is always said but it might also be the truth

Not sure Bazemore truly fills this role enough.

he's basically equal to Hayward on defense. And, he wouldn't be an offensive liability (far from it, actually). If we can add that level of defense while strengthening our offense, then we've done well.

Don't know enough about him as a man/leader. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

fish, Exum could be a good 3 and d guy but in no way do I see him as some good leader, vocal captain-type.

Similar stats to Carroll and Bazemore. Older than both players (30), but only 4 yrs in the league (Carroll: 6 yrs, Bazemore: 4 yrs).

System role player, and unhappy in PHX due to no clear defined role. He was a big part of PHX when they were surging. Plays tough, physical defense and is a decent spot 3 pt shooter. He's less flash than Carroll or Blaze, more of a "Jazz man".

Trevor Ariza would be perfect

I'd worry about touching anybody on that Houston dumpster fire. I do agree, though, that his skills would complement the roster.

He's definitely going to be looking for a starting job, though. One reason I wanted us to sign depth on the wing last offseason was that there was a starting spot that some guy could tell himself he could grab. With Hood's emergence this year, that is pretty much impossible to say now. So, waiting probably put us in a marketplace with lesser talent -- not to mention that now we won't have the leverage in the marketplace we would have had last year, when we could have been one a few big buyers.

gotta bakk that cakk, doe.

He's a bit better this year, cheapish, and could come off the bench. Not that he's as proven as Ariza but what about someone like Arron Afflalo?
