Jazz can do better than Withey and Ingles.

I'd move draft pick ahead of ingles on the depth chart... I don't know who draft pick is... Could be a center or a euro guy that doesn't come over and I'd prefer to put them ahead of ingles.

Withey is good where he is... Favs is our backup center basically. Play three bigs.

I do wonder if we could get Rudy Gay on the cheap. After playing for the kings a sixth man role in Utah may look pretty sweet. Would play 3&4 get 30 minutes a night and would destroy bench dudes.

How many backup centers play even as good defense of defense as Whithy, and Burks replaces Ingles. Ingles stays. His value is as a glue guy and chemistry locker room guy. He's our red rocket

If by glue guy, you mean glued to the bench, then yes, Ingles can stay.

The problem the Jazz need to think about is they have 3 guys who have had repeated and even chronic injury problems in Favors, Burks and Hood. And add in Hayward and Gobert also missing significant time. I'm most concerned about Derrick. Back problems have ended many careers. Trey looks like a keeper, but Utah needs to add a skilled C/PF type who can score. There is just too much risk with Gobert and Favors missing time. Whithey is not the answer if you have to plug him in for 20 mins/per if one of them goes down. I'm also assuming in this equation that Booker is NOT re-signed. Love his energy, but he can't shoot.

Jazz need to draft/sign a big and a SF. I'd say PG, but that isn't going to happen. Gay is certainly intriguing depending on how much he wants and for how many years.

No way batum is going to get 20 mil. I am guessing 12 to 15 mil Most. With a 3 man rotation of hood hayward and batum would get him plenty of minutes. Not to mention it would be fun to see a small ball line up of hood, hayward, batum and lyles.

Rudy Gay would be interesting but he is awful at scoring effectively.

I like the idea of trying to get Rudy Gay to come over. Even if he came off the bench we would surely play him starter minutes or very near starter minutes. Could be a very big impact player if he bought in.
