A plea for more scoring and ball handling via the 12th pick

We are also talking about a 6-6 pg lightning quick and showed elite defense at pg, who can cause huge matchup concerns for apposing defenses.

So 19-10 isn't good enough and not proof enough for a starting rookie? Idiot!!

1) small sample size

2) Exum was putrid offensively. Couldn't shoot, penetrate or create for others.

3) Exum is coming off a torn acl, and is woefully inexperienced.

4) I like Exum a lot, but acting like we can't improve our Pg position is pretty silly, and intellectually dishonest.

5) Exum averaged 5/2/3 during that 29 game stretch, shot 34% from the 3, had an offensive rating of 83 and a defensive rating of 104...and we can't improve that? Lol.

We don't need another damned pg. we have three pretty damned good ones as it is

Ummmmmm... No we don't. We have one PG that we all hope will become a pretty damned good one despite an injury and not showing us anything that could be considered even borderline competent offensively thus far.

There's no point arguing with people who think the Jazz shouldn't add talent, even if that talent can be signed to reasonable, easily moved contracts and cost nothing but cap space (of which, the Jazz have plenty). They apparently want the Jazz to strive only for levels of mediocrity within their own grasp.

A couple reminders for the cake-bakers:

1. Kanter, the 3rd overall pick in 2011, didn't pan out for the Jazz. In exchange for this top pick, the Jazz might end up with a garbage player and a second round pick. Wishful thinking about a player who failed as a rookie, and has already had major surgery on his knee, does not make him a franchise-changing star.

2. The Jazz played Ingles, CJ, Sap and Pleiss almost a combined 30 minutes per game this season. Injuries happen.

You'd think people would stop spouting this ****ing nonsense. The Jazz still need to add talent. There's no guarantee Gordo's with the team beyond next season, Favors is with the team beyond the season after that, or any of the other young players improve significantly or stick around long-term. How many more seasons like the last 6 would y'all like to endure?

No one ever said we shouldn't, but it needs to be the right talent at the right position, and u don't add talent just to add it in fear of strapping the roster with bad deals or personalities and so on. Adding a starting pg now is a huge risk the Jazz don't need. From everything we've heard from DL to the coach is that they 100% believe Exum is special. They are around him all the time. They know more then u or I.

They are trusting the process, u should too.

They trusted the process with Kanter as well. Total nonsense. Adding talent on good contracts comes with far less risk than doing nothing and praying everything works out.

U have to expect a wrong step here and there. Kanter, Burke and so on, but there is also Hayward, Hood, Lyles, Exum, Favors, (traded) and Burks. No one is going to get it right 100% of the time and again stop saying I don't think we shouldn't add talent. I just don't think we need to add a starting pg.
