Where: Gameface's house
When: Friday, April 1st @8pm
What: $20 buy-in NL Hold'em poker tournament with optional $5 bounty/kill chip

I realize this is during the L.A. game. I'll have it on the TV and bring another TV down so you can watch while you play. We'll also take a break for the last 5min of the 4th qtr if it isn't a blow out at that point. I just couldn't find another good day for this and I wanted to do it again before too long.

A few changes. Starting stacks will still be 5000 in chips, but blinds levels will last 20 min and I've modified the blind progression a little bit so there aren't big jumps during the mid-late portion of the game.

Here's the new blind structure. Tell me if you see anything wrong with it.

25 – 50
50 – 100
75 – 150
100 – 200
150 –300
Break and color up
200 – 400
300 – 600
400 – 800
Break
500 – 1000
700 – 1400
900 – 1800
1200 – 2400
Break and color up
1500 – 3000
2000 – 4000
3000 – 6000
5000 – 10,000

The bounty was fun last time. The way it will work is if you buy the $5 bounty chip and eliminate another player who also has a bounty chip you will take their chip and cash it in for $5 after you're eliminated. If you get eliminated by a player who does not have a bounty chip then you keep your chip and turn it in for your $5 back. The chips you win from others are safe, you will only lose your original bounty chip if you get eliminated by a player who is participating in the bounty. Questions?

Everything else will be the same as last time. PM me to RSVP. If you RSVP please show up or let me know that you've had a change in plans. Please show up a few minutes early.

I love Gameface in a very non-Elton John type way. Dude's the man! (unless he rigs this tourney like he did the last one.... seriously, what a scumbag.)

How far off the freeway are you?

Do you just do the one tourney or you do multiple?

Thanks

I am just off Bangerter and 70th south just north of Jordan Landing. You can get off the west side belt route at Redwood Rd and you'll be about 5 min away.

The main tournament will last 3-4 hrs, but I have a second table that can be used for a player's choice game once it's open and there are enough people who want to play. Last time they started a $5 SNG.

Color me there. I really am going to take all of your monies this time, bitches.

I'm only in if the EMO chick comes back (and the gay guy and BabyPeterzz hook up).

Well, with the EMO chick comes the loca chick...

Millsapa told me she's the EMO chick, but I don't believe "her."

I'd like to add that if you don't want to participate in the main tourney, but want to socialize and maybe get in on the side game that's cool with me.

Ya, I enjoyed staring at the emo chick, but not at the cost of having to deal with El Gordo.

Dude, get it right. I was "El Gordito" while on my mission. It's much more endearing than El Gordo.

Was at a coaches clinic in Vegas and finally sat down at a Texas game for first time ever. It was really cool. Was up $20ish at one point ($1-$2 no-limit). But started getting tired and bored. Don't know why I didn't leave but stayed and ended up dumping $200 on stupid hands I shouldn't play. But still very fun and always wanted to try that game at least once.

Well this will only cost you $20-25 at the most, and it'll be at least as much fun.
