The article you linked to says that the total amount of incentives paid for fossil fuels is four times the total amount paid for renewables. The amount of energy produced by fossil fuels dwarfs that produced by renewables. I have a feeling if we saw it broken down by subsidies per kilowatt hour of energy produced we would see that the subsidy for renewables is many, many times greater than any subsidies for renewables.
