green. I have a dentist that has TVs in the operating rooms. It's not the first time I've seen that, but in his operating rooms the TVs are not for the patients. They're for him. He watches the TV while he gives me the anesthetic shot and it makes me very uncomfortable.

He's an older guy and he did a root canal a while ago but couldn't get one of the canals completely cleaned out so now I have to go to a specialist to get the root canal finished and like a dumb *** I've been putting it off.

But I don't want to go back to him after the endodontist finishes the root canal. I just don't like that he is watching TV while he's performing an operation on me. What do you think of that?

Honestly dentists kinda kick ***. I think the rest of our health care system could probably learn a lot from them about how to get **** done. I've always left the dentists office fairly impressed.

Serious question. Why the hell have you idiots let this pain linger for years and years? I love you guys and all but tht's ****ing dumb.

I haven't. Up until now the cause of the pain has been a mystery to the two dentists I've seen.

The TV dentist: honestly, not a big deal. Once the needle is in, it doesn't move. You just inject. The slower you inject, the less it hurts. If it bothers you, tell him. If he's a dick, leave. Odds are, he doesn't know it bothers you.

Some schools rent you the equipment, some schools make you buy it.

Thrill - teeth suck. It's sucks it took so long, but at least now there's a visible sign and a solution.

A quick thought I just had:

I think I'd rather be watch tv than stare in your eyes. Ha ha.

It seems crazy to me that a dentist would not realize patients are going to be bothered by something like this. BTW, were you operating when you made that post?
