These would be my favorite.

#1

Boozer for JJ Reddick and Brandon Bass

#2

Boozer for Chris Kaman

#3

Boozer for Gerald Wallace

What would you guys like to see happen if it comes to a sign and trade?

I think #1 and #3 are probable if the Jazz explored these trades. #2 would probably be ideal for the Jazz so they get a big man back in return but I think I'd rather go for the 1st or 3rd option. I also believe Milsap will be just fine as our PF starter so I'm not nearly as worried about that spot as some guys. Hopefully we get ourselves a good defensive big in the draft so we can explore the S/T option with Boozer for a dynamic scorer to compliment DWill.

Hmm...taking advantage of poorly run teams by giving Boozer the six years in exchange for taking some purportedly lesser players on semi-bad contracts isn't a bad idea.

I don't know if any of the three fit that build since I don't think that much of Chris Kaman.

I'll be stunned if the Jazz do an S&T with Booze that doesn't involve cap savings. In other words, Booze to a team under the cap who gives back a player(s) up to 8 million in salary while surrendering 5 million of their cap space in the form of a TE. Teams well enough under the Cap can effectively get Booze for 5 to 8 of their Cap Space by giving back a player and then still go out an sign other players, or a team with only 7-8 million of Cap Space can sign Booze when they ordinarily couldn't. So I don't see any of those deals working (for the Jazz.)

What about Boozer for Dampier and Beaubois? Dampier's contract is not guaranteed and Beaubois adds talent and athleticism to the backcourt. We could always flip Dampier's contract later or just waive him and not owe him anything. Not a lot for Boozer, but I don't think the Jazz are big on adding ~10 million to the payroll either, which would likely mean dumping AK later.

Maybe we should keep it realistic as to which city? He's not gonna want to go to Milwaukee/Charlotte, and since he's unrestricted he gets to decide here. I'd assume it has to be something like Miami, Chicago, NYC, Boston, Orlando, Atlanta(?), Dallas, Houston, LA etc.

Thats why I kept my trades to Olrando and LA. But I also think he would choose Charlotte. He played for Duke and just talked about how much he loves Jordan.

Boozer to Chicago wouldnt give us any players back. They would try either Hinrich or Deng. I dont want either.

I actually wouldn't mind Deng especially if AK is moved as well. I think he'd be a nice piece on a title contending team if we get to that. And his length doesn't hurt in the least.

Actually, if he wants more money then we're the only team that can make it happen.

Boozer + AK47 + filler for Bosh + Hedo.

I know, I know. Bosh is also a terrible defender but given the fact that he can also carry our offense and is one of the most versatile bigmen in the NBA + we will get rid of AK47's heavy contract, it should be taken into consideration.

It's time to pull your face out of that pie in the sky. There is no way in hell Bosh ends up in SLC.

agreed. If he passes all the physicals he can play on my team.
