I think we missed the playoffs because we didn't have enough on the wing or running the offense.Yeah, but you know what cost us to miss the playoffs last year? Gobert and Favors getting injured and not having talented backups.
It would be extremely premature to trade Favors just because a rookie big is playing well.
No NBA team needs to pay $10+ per year on 4 bigs. Big men are like NFL rb's. If you have an elite one, good for you but you can win without them. Did we not learn anything from the Millsap, AK, Booz situation? Or Favors, Kanter and Gobert? It is incredibly hard to groom 3-4 quality young big men at the same time. Guys get disgruntled, nobody really emerges as the guy and they end up leaving first shot they get.
