For some, yes.
I totally understand any American having a problem being in the same place with a bunch of Muslims. Humans are comfortable in their more familiar living space. If you are an American and have never known a Muslim before, you will eventually have the stereotypical image of a Muslim as a Middle Eastern terrorist on your mind. Who is guilty of this imagery? Well for starters obviously the ones who hurt people. And secondly and maybe not lesser to the first category, every side taker that has a benefit of keeping the image of a Muslim within the boundaries of a stereotypical terrorist. Well what can you do? Politics is a bitch.
