Why there is no way Hayward renegotiated and will opt out.

Okay let me get this off my chest. I keep reading Utah may renegotiate Hayward's contract so he cannot opt out. This will not happen. Hayward can only sign for 25% of $94,000,000 cap. Next summer he can sign for 30% of $107,000,000 cap.

Hayward is not worth 30 % of the cap but that is are only chance to retain his services.

I'm in favour of trading Hayward before the trade deadline in 2017. Jazz can not keep all their players.

I want the Jazz to rely on Gobert, Favors and Hood for the future.

I think the real odd man out is gonna be Favors and is going to get traded. Hayward is the face of the franchise now and the Jazz tend to keep it that way.

Umm Hayward can't be renegotiated. Favs may get ibaka'd in a year or two.

Favors, as good as he may be, doesn't have the competitive fire that Hayward has. To me there is really no comparison. Also Favors had that undefined bad back.

In this rare instance he seems to be a player who is learning to be more competitive, or at least show it better. He was impressive last year in the stretch and against the best players.

His back is indeed the wildcard. That is what will determine his long-term role.

Favs is kind of an introvert, with that said hes made some giant leaps from his rookie year where you see him getting a little more comfortable in his skin with things like dealing with the media. I think some of this will begin to translate on the floor where he has the confidence and the desire to punish guys using his size and athleticism. I think if there is a guy that can accelerate this process it is Snyder.

I like Favs, but Utah can't give everyone the max. With Lyles looking like he might be a legit stretch-4, and Favors having back problems the last couple of seasons, Derrick could be odd-man out.

Next year is a very important draft for us. By 2018, our backups are going to have to be players on rookie contracts or vet minimum deals in order to afford Hayward, Gobert, Hood and Exum. Burks will be a casualty; just can't afford him.

For me currently it is Favors the face of the franchise. He always showed he is happy to play for the Jazz. The Jazz never did anything to appease his requests.

Hayward expressed his dissatisfaction more than once. Jazz always trying to bring players to appease him.

Another point, Favors continues to improve every year and he is a complete player.

Hayward struggled to be the go-to guy player especially in clutch times. I'm not sure he is worth to get a massive contract.

I prefer the Jazz to rely on Gobert, Favors, Hood and Exum for the future.

The Jazz will keep Hayward. Hayward will opt out. The Jazz will give him the max. And that one move will seal our fate in regards to this team. We will be rebuilding about 5 years after that with zero championships to show for it.

Hayward has been the best player on the Jazz for the last three years. He does it all. What you talkin bout, appeasin? No one is appeasing Hayward, he has just done so much for this team that he has earned the right to express a little dissatisfaction. He is not a drama queen or even close. Hayward wasn't too clutch last season but he was the only one who played max minutes and was there the whole year without injuries. He somewhat carried the Jazz. He has been more clutch than anyone on the team over the last four years and probably will continue to be.

It will be interesting to see who is our leader this season, I bet it's still Hayward and I bet we win a ton of games.
