KD to GSW... I hate those guys

How am I wrong? What imperical evidence do you have that he's the goat? Why are you so offended that someone would suggest that he's not?

I'm calling MJ a top 5 player all time. That's a compliment. I personally don't think there is a goat in any sport. Wilt redefined the game. Russell won 11. Kareem was fantastic in every facet. LBJ is doing amazing things.

It's not an insult to call a guy top 5 all time. It's not an insult to say the guy was amazing. I have the right to opinions like any other. I'm not insulting you for thinking he is the goat. So stop insulting me.

Jordan definitely GOAT. If he hadn't retired early he might have 8 championships. He willed his team to victory over and over. He always delivered. I followed his career closely from the time he was young and saw him play live in four finals games including the game 6 with "the shot". I could not keep my eyes off him and even on the bench he exuded confidence and a determination to win. If you were on Jordan's team you knew that losing was not even a remote possibility. That is why he is the GOAT.

There is lots of empirical evidence but the main one is that in his prime years he willed his team to win 6 straight championship in which he was the most dominant player in the NBA during a time that is arguable the greatest talent era of the NBA. Once he made it to the finals after working so hard to get better he never lost a playoff series again. How many players once they made it to the finals never lost a playoff series again and won 6 in a row as the best player in the league?

Also I am not seeing insults to you that bad and you are dishing out insults just as much. If you are going to post an opinion that is in stark contrast the vast majority of NBA fans, players, coaches and media members than you probably need thicker skin then getting offended by people not liking your opinion and asking people to "stop insulting me" shows that.

People get caught up in things like championships and legacy and whatever. Fans and players. The reality is much more complicated than this. Charles Barkley has 0 rings. Hakeem Olajuwon has 2. By most standards, Hakeem was a better player. They are the same age and they played in the same era. Who's better known to fans today? Look at the numbers below?

https://www.google.ca/trends/explore#q="charles barkley", "hakeem olajuwon"&cmpt=q&tz=Etc/GMT+6

Who cares about rings? What matters is whether you're in the public eye or not.

I responded kid from your kid comment. Others are calling me an idiot.

MJ has one record. He scored more per game than any other player ever. He also played in the highest ppg era so scoring 37 per in an era where they scored 110 is not as staggering as 31 in an era where they scored 100. MJ was awesome but no imperical evidence of overwhelming dominance without help.

And favorites always win... And he wasnt the favorite his first year.

When MJ left the Bulls the first time, the Bulls lost one more game that next season. One game. They guy was amazing but not some untouchable.

His team wasnt great. And yet the greatest player of all time could only go 30-52.

The proof is there. He never had a winning season without a top 50 of all time player at his side. That's not a knock. Just the truth.

One other fun fact. Phil called Pippen the best defender he's ever seen. He would put Pippen on the other team's best player in the 4th. You know how many Defensive Player of the Year Awards Pippen won? 0. MJ won one. And he wasn't even the best defender on his own team according to the best coach of all time. Perspective on the MJ idol worship...
