Would the hostess have assumed that because he looks middle eastern therefore he must be muslim though?
I mean I don't think she would have asked what his religion was.. unless she was just going off of his name.. but then again are all Muhamads Muslims?

Alot of ifs and maybes which is why I deflected on my original post. Maybe this is true and maybe it isn't.
But this is still not a racial bias. She did it because she thought he was Muslim, let's be honest. That is religious bigotry. Not racism.
