Two things.


One. Would you agree Bourne Identity was the best of the original trilogy? Well Greengrass didn't direct that one.


Two. Since the trilogy other franchises have stepped up their game. Look at the latest 007 films for example. And Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. The new Bourne is no where near those levels.

I'd say the third was the best in the trilogy. Greengrass directed it as well as Captain Phillips and United 93. In short, he's much better than Liman.

Not sure how your "point" here makes any sense.

Whatever.. just watch the film then and if you think it's the greatest ever then that's fine. You're entitled to yours and I'm entitled to mine.

I'm not saying this recent film is good. It gets predominantly mediocre reviews so I expect it to be just that.
 
After the terrible abortion named Spectre, one has to acknowledge that a good action franchise can go off a cliff without warning.
