According to Andy Larsen of KSL.com, the Jazz have been disappointed with Tibor Pleiss' performance in both games and practices.
While Pleiss is on the books for $3 million next season, Larsen said that his chances of making the 15-man roster took a hit when the Jazz signed rookie Joel Bolomboy this week. Larsen also adds that Jeff Withey likely has an edge over Pleiss right now, so it sounds like he's probably going to be waived along with Chris Johnson. Aug. 21 - 10:07 am et

Seems like WAY too much money.
Right now the roster is:
Gobert/Withey/Pleiss/Bolomboy
Favors/Diaw/Lyles
Hayward/JJ/Ingles
Johnson/Burks/Hood
Hill/Exum/Mack/Neto
(no its not a depth chart, just a general listing of people under contract)
That is 17 people, 2 (maybe 3) need to go. I'd say that Pleiss and Johnson are the most likely. I'd say Neto might get cut as well.

I was quoting the OP, namely getting $3 million for swapping pick 32 with pick 45. I don't believe it without confirmation.
Uhh, did you not see the tweet I posted? It's been reported. It's a fact.
Brooklyn has a ton of money and they traded up so they could get a local player.
And it was like 42 for 55, or something like that. We didnt have the 32nd pick.

I don't think you cut Neto. He has some value. Enough to get an asset of some sort or to salary dump Pleiss.
